Your journey begins with a scenic drive (6–7 hours) or a short flight (25 minutes) from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a city known for its tranquil lakes and mountain views. After checking into your hotel, spend the evening exploring Phewa Lake, the lively Lakeside Market, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight Stay: Pokhara
After breakfast, drive to Nayapul (approx. 1.5 hours), the starting point of your trek. Begin trekking through rice terraces, suspension bridges, and forested paths leading to the beautiful village of Ghandruk, home to the Gurung community and incredible views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

Continue your trek towards Chhomrong, a major village along the Annapurna Sanctuary route. The trail descends and then climbs steadily through stone stairways, with occasional teahouses and panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Today’s trail takes you deeper into the sanctuary. Pass through Bamboo forests, steep ravines, and small settlements like Sinuwa, Bamboo, and Dovan. The trek becomes more peaceful as you climb to Deurali, surrounded by towering cliffs and alpine landscapes.

This is the most rewarding day of the trek. Ascend gently to Machapuchare Base Camp (3,700m), where you’ll get stunning views of the "Fishtail" peak. Continue to Annapurna Base Camp, a wide-open glacial basin ringed by some of the highest peaks on Earth. Witness sunset views over Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Tent Peak.

Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped peaks. After breakfast, begin your descent back down the trail. Retrace your steps through MBC, Deurali, Dovan, and Bamboo, enjoying a different perspective of the trail you climbed.

Final leg of the trek. Hike from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda, where you can take a dip in the natural hot springs (optional). Continue down to Nayapul, where your vehicle awaits to take you back to Pokhara. Spend the evening relaxing or celebrating your successful trek!
